This vintage Trifari choker necklace is composed of a goldtone double-D link chain design with diamond-shaped clear rhinestones. The chain does not go all the way around the necklace, but rests in the center of the neck, connected to a snake chain with a spring-ring clasp.
The link chain design was patented by Trifari in 1951 - see last photo. It is not signed, but is clearly Trifari. It may have been sold with a hang tag, as there is little room on the necklace for a signature.
The necklace is in excellent vintage condition (EUC), except for a half-inch portion of snake chain near the clasp that is not as flexible as the rest of the chain.
The necklace is 14-1/2" long, for a small neck. It is not adjustable, but a goldtone necklace lengthener like this could be added. The link-chain portion is 5" long, and 3/4" wide.
