RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
PROCEDURE FOR RETURNING ITEMS
If you are not pleased with your purchase from Retro Jewels 20th Century, simply contact us at email@example.com with 5 days of delivery of your item(s), to arrange for return and refund of the purchase price plus original shipping cost. We will acknowledge your email return request within 3 business days.
Once your return has been acknowledged, you have 3 business days to return your item: that is, the postmark on the returned package MUST fall within the 3 business day return window.
In returning the item(s), please comply with the following rules:
- The item MUST be returned via the original carrier (unless agreed to otherwise in writing (i.e., email), in its original packaging, and insured (if over $50) for its purchase price.
- The item MUST be received in the same condition as when it was shipped to you, with shop tags, if any, intact.
- Please use delivery tracking and get a delivery receipt, for proof of mailing.
- You are responsible for paying for return shipping and insurance, if any, unless agreed to otherwise in writing.
After we have (a) received the returned item, (b) verified that the return was postmarked within the return window, and (c) verified that the returned item is in the same condition as originally sent, we will issue a full refund within 3 business days.
IF YOUR ITEM(S) ARRIVE DAMAGED
If you receive an item that has been damaged in transit, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 3 days of the item's receipt. DO NOT automatically return the item, as that will void any insurance that may have been paid in connection with the shipment. (Retro Jewels 20th Century, as the seller, is responsible for insuring shipments. Customers are not charged extra for insurance.)
Please retain all packaging, as well as all pieces of the damaged item, and include clear pictures of item and package damage, when you contact us.
We will acknowledge your email damage report within 3 business days, and advise you on whether the item should be returned to us. We will work with you to determine who should make a damage claim - you, as the purchaser, or us, as the seller. Note that damage claims can ONLY be made on items that were insured.
Regardless of which party initiates a damage claim, if any, we will issue a full refund of purchase price plus the original shipping cost, within 3 business days of receipt of your damage report.
